Those in my Specialist Maths class would know what (well, more like WHO) I’m referring to. Sharline and Jen seem to always start giggling once this word (which should ACTUALLY be “asymptotes”) is said; and then I start cracking up. It just sucks that we’re currently learning about graphs, so the word “asymptote/s” is ALWAYS mentioned; but all we end up doing is trying to suppress our laughter so that the teacher won’t notice.
Today was pretty much the biggest drag so far this term. By the time the bell rang for lunch, I felt so tired and drained, and that pretty much lasted for the rest of the day. Lunch time today was pretty different, seeing as our group slowly started disappearing. I ended up hanging out with April, Dani, Nugen and the BRuCE crew after everyone left. They were taking polaroid pictures, and the pictures turned out so awesome! Had quite a few laughs too.
I noticed during lunch time, when April and I spoke a bit of how our group just disappeared yet it was nice to just sit around, that our whole group will never be together on any given day. There’ll always be at least one person missing. Even though that is a pretty regular thing with our group, it’s a bit sad that we’re only into week three, and there have been many days when only about 4 or 5 people are there. I wonder what this will be like once SACs start piling up and exams are slowly approaching. I found it a bit strange that Sonam came up to me after lunch trying to defend herself for studying Chem (I think) when I went up to the lockers during lunch. I don’t really know what brought that on, and I don’t really get why she apologised to me about it, so I guess I won’t ramble on too much about it. I just thought that was a bit weird.
Moving on… Legal Studies was funny, as usual. I was trying my hardest to not fall asleep because I felt so tired. Vania and I made the 3.25pm train (!!!!!)… but only because it was delayed by about 5 minutes. But because of the delay, it expressed from Newport to Laverton (which is uber awesome for me!). So yeah, I got home earlier than I would’ve normally, so I decided to go to Coles and buy ice cream for the hot weather ahead.
When I got home, I saw an envelope on my table from MILLIE! YAY! I got SO excited when I saw it, and that pretty much brought me back to life after such a slightly dull day (for me). When I opened the envelope, I found a cute little note, an envelope (with a card inside) and Kikki.K love heart sticky notes (like Jen’s!) and the cutest pen. I looked at the envelope with the card in it and she actually sprayed perfume on it; with an arrow pointing to a random spot saying, “This is what I smell like.” Haha. It smelt really nice. XD
I guess that would be close to being the highlight of my day. I have so much homework to do now. Hope you all have a good night.
Goodbye and take care.
